"Barbara Berger teaches specific parameters and takes the guesswork out of it. Her method unequivocally works and there is enormous potential for practitioners to expand their practice. The course delivers on teaching techniques. Her method is faster and infinitely more effective than using needles." Joyce Greenberg, L.Ac, Host, Bastyr University, CEU Dept. "Learn from the best! Great courses. I've successfully applied the techniques in my practice." Laura Gannon, L.Ac
"Barbara is a skillful teacher. Her expert training in pain management and facial rejuvenation is concise, easy to learn and directly useful. It is a valuable addition to my practice." Connie Kennedy, DC
"The courses are thorough, informative and easy to read. I recommend it to anyone interested in microcurrent." Karen Black, L.Ac
"Well-organized courses and packed with information! I put the techniques to use right away." Stephanie Lum, L.Ac

It is theorized that healthy tissue is the direct result of electrical current freely flowing though the body. Cells store and release energy. When injury occurs, the injured area has a higher electrical resistance than surrounding tissue. Electrical balance is disrupted when the body is injured in a particular area. Higher resistance prevents electrical flow through the injured tissue delaying the normal healing process. Benefits of treatment include wound healing, reducing inflammation, improving range of motion, enhancing cell membrane transport, acute and chronic pain management.
A microcurrent treatment is a metabolic boost to enhance normal cellular activity. Research supports that microcurrent stimulation dramatically increases the production of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). ATP is referred to as "the energy currency of the body" and is involved in virtually every activity of the cell including nerve transmission, muscle contraction and protein synthesis. The enhancement of blood flow and oxygen following a microcurrent treatment translates into reduced pain, improved range of motion and a quicker recover from injury.
